On March 13, 2023, the 40th anniversary of the Look East Policy(LEP) was held at the MITI Tower. Through the LEP established in 1983, more than 5,000 civil servants and students trained and studied in Korea. In the opening ceremony, Ambassador Yeo Seung-bae said he hopes to strengthen economic cooperation, boost high-level government exchanges, and deepen their mutual interests through many programs between Malaysia and Korea.
