On June 10, 2024, the 2024 Korea-Sarawak Energy Cooperation Workshop was held with the participation of the Korean Embassy and various institutions/companies. The event was attended by H2KOREA Chairman Kim Jae-Hong, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Sarawak (MEESty) Datuk Dr. Hazland Abang Hipni, and Invest Sarawak CEO Timothy Ong. In addition to the workshop, separate meetings were held between the Chairman of the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) and the Chairman of Invest Sarawak, as well as with the Chairman of H2KOREA.
